New Energy Coalition

New Energy Coalition is a continuously growing network of (some 100) knowledge/education institutions, companies, government bodies and ngo’s working together on the energy transition for a sustainable future. The organisation connects knowledge, market and policy. New Energy Coalition is rooted in the northern Netherlands region, where energy knowledge has traditionally been concentrated, and with a strong energy infrastructure in place. From this knowledge position the coalition works on energy innovations, research and education. The region is a testing ground, with (inter)national scope. 

Along the lines of “Act local, think global”, New Energy Coalition has a strong international focus. We work closely with the North Sea countries and in European projects to acquire, share and apply new knowledge.
